Mrs. Obeng Sophia 

Sophia was the Head of Origination and Placement with Databank Brokerage Limited, where she spearheaded debt management and product development as well as implementing strategies to manage, develop and grow the high net worth portfolio.

She also served the Databank Foundation as mentor and role model, where she counselled several students from the University of Ghana. She is a lecturer of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Institute of Distance Learning. Sophia holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast and an MBA from the University of Southampton in the UK. She has also undertaken various courses in Risk Management, Asset and Liability Management, Bonds Management, Corporate Finance, Capital Market Development and Regulation as well as E-Learning Money Market Courses. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. Sophia is a Director of Omega Partners Ltd, Edendale Properties Ltd and Man capital Properties Ltd.

At Wintrust Capital, Sophia is responsible for the management of all inflow of investments, making of investment decisions and also business development of Wintrust Capital microfinance Ltd.

Salisu Abdulai

Mr. Salisu has about 25 years in the financial management and research services. He started his career as an accountant at Bridal trust Int. Paints Co. Ltd responsible for Preparing Monthly Management Accounts and Final Accounts. Additionally he coordinated with External Auditors for Annual Financial Report and Budget Preparation among other responsibilities. Due to his hard work and dedication to service, he was appointed as the Financial Controller at Honda Place. He later moved to Business and Financial Times as the Financial Controller and subsequently General Manager where he was in charge of managing the finances of the Company's operations. His meticulous handling of financial data puts the company on track in terms of proper management of clients and company's funds and timely financial reporting to stakeholders. Currently Mr. Salisu is the Chief operations Officer of The Investor Ghana Ltd, responsible for managing the finances of the Company's operations, and other operations related activities such as market intelligence, compliance and legislative issues, operational strategy, plan budget and office management

Mr. Salisu holds BA Sociology from Institute of Professional Studies, Post graduate Diploma in Business administration and Chartered Institute of Management Accountant stage II Certificate in Microsoft Office and Software such as Sage line 50, sage pastel and Tally Accounting software.

Salisu brings on board vast experience in international financial management system which helps Wintrust Capital in managing effectively its finances (Financial and operational risks).

Godwin Kwesi Amla

Godwin brings over Six (6) years of senior-level sales, marketing and team management experience from prominent financial institutions in Ghana. As a former employee of Bayport Financial Services and Dalex Finance and Leasing Company respectively, he was instrumental in the opening and establishment of branches and developed strong brand-building skills whilst managing teams in the marketing department.

Mr. Godwin Kwesi Amla holds an MBA in Oil and Gas management from Coventry University, UK and Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurial management from the University of Cape coast. He also holds Diploma in software engineering form NIIT Ghana. Godwin's area of expertise includes marketing, credit management financial management, team leadership as well as project management. His entrepreneurial drive and successful track records of transforming small business ideas into successful companies led to the establishment of Wintrust Investment Africa Ltd and Wintrust Capital and Microfinance Ltd. He is the visionary of Win Trust capital Micro Finance Ltd.

At wintrust Capital, Godwin is the CEO responsible for general management of operations of the business (developing the strategic corporate direction, providing leadership and strategic management)

Rexford Akakpo

Rexford holds Msc. / PG Diploma in Actuarial Science from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh (UK), Bsc. Statistics & Computer science from the University of Ghana. Due to his experience of numerical, analytical and financial modules such as Financial Mathematics, Economics, Finance & Financial Reporting, Life Insurance Mathematics, Statistical Methods & Risk Theory, among others, which constitute his postgraduate course in actuarial science, He has developed a profound knowledge of risk analysis, and an in-depth understanding of the financial and insurance industry.

He also worked as Course coordinator and lecturer of Insurance and Actuarial Science at the Pentecost University. Prior to his appointment as a lecturer he worked as a senior Actuarial Analyst and Claims manager at the Nationwide Mutual healthcare Insurance Ghana.

His areas of expertise from risk management, Insurance, financial reporting and Management Information systems has been of massive benefit to Wintrust Capital Microfinance Ltd in the management of risk and data.

Mr. Pastor Daniel Kwao Akah

Mr. Daniel Kwao Akah is a senior health tutor at Midwifery and health assistant of the trainng school, Pantang. He is also the senior pastor of His Banner Christian Center, he is a counsellor who is helping shape the life of young men and women in the health sector and christian ministry. Daniel is also an author of five best selling books to his credit.

Daniel hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast.

At Wintrust Capital he plays strategic role in general welfare of staff and strict adherences to sector and business regulations/compliance which helps in the reputation sustainability of the organisation.
